EClass Outboards is a trading name of That’s Good Pty Ltd (ABN 21 003 997 279), based in Kiama, NSW. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean That’s Good Pty Ltd trading as EClass Outboards. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This policy covers our website, our enquiry and sign-up forms, and the quotes, orders, installations and support we provide.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, postcode or location.
- About your boat — the hull, outboard or personal watercraft you have (make, model, year), how you use it and what you are looking for, when you send an enquiry or register interest (for example, in our jet ski conversion kit).
- Quotes and orders — delivery and invoicing details, and the products and services you buy. We do not take card payments on this website.
- Trade enquiries — business name and details if you enquire about becoming a distributor or marine technician.
- Website use — pages visited, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar technology (see below).
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you: when you fill in a form on this website, subscribe to our newsletter, email or call us, visit our workshop, or talk to us at a show or event. Some information about how you use the website is collected automatically.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and supply, install and support your products.
- To recommend the right outboard, battery and charger for your boat.
- To keep you informed about the products or projects you registered interest in.
- To send our newsletter and occasional updates, if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
- To improve our website, products and service, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies. HubSpot sets cookies to manage our forms and to understand how visitors use the site, and our website platform (WordPress with Jetpack) collects basic visitor statistics. If we advertise on platforms such as Facebook or Google, they may set cookies to show you more relevant ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad preferences in your Facebook and Google account settings. Some parts of the website, such as forms, may not work properly without cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to do what you asked, or where the law requires it:
- Service providers that run our business systems — HubSpot (our customer database, forms and email), our website host and WordPress/Jetpack, our email provider and our accounting software.
- Our distributors and marine technicians, when they will quote, fit or service your EClass product.
- Freight carriers, to deliver your order.
- HandyPay, only if you choose to apply for finance through their link. Your application is handled by HandyPay under their own privacy policy.
- Government agencies or advisers, where the law requires or allows it.
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers, including HubSpot and WordPress/Jetpack, may store or process your information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information.
Keeping it secure
We use secure (https) web forms and password-protected business systems, and only people who need your information for their work can see it. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. If we can’t meet a request, we will tell you why.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
